Wes Anderson's smart phone contacts must be off the charts.

That's the most fun I've ever had writing a title. Even forgot Scarlett Johansson.

Set in Japan, Isle of Dogs follows a boy's odyssey in search of his dog.

I was really hesitating for those black boxes, maybe I should make them red or white?

Man I really can't wait for Jeff Goldblum as a dog

That's a Wes Anderson-ass Wes Anderson poster. You don't even need his name underneath to tell its from a Wes Anderson movie.

    I can't wait.

So is Ken Watanabe healthy now? I know he had leukimia, and I'm pretty sure he recovered. He has hepatitis C, which I believe he treats. But then I heard he had stomach cancer and was retiring until healthy. Does this mean he's healthy? Hope so, he's a great actor.

I posted this question to the trailer thread but it's buried under thousands of other comments.

I love when every character speaks in a monotone bored voice.

The poster looks incredible. The artwork and the Japanese calligraphy of the actor’s names is very aesthetically pleasing. Can’t wait for another rendition of Wed Anderson zaniness.

EDIT: Katakana. What they said below me.

Nice to see a lot of Japanese talent in a film set in Japan.

Aren't the Oscars in February? Any reason this is gonna skip over award season? Has it been screened yet, because stop motion is very laborious work

So happy to see that Greta Gerwig is in this. Also it wouldn't be a Wes Anderson movie without Bill Murray. This is going to be great.

The English words and the Kanji don't correspond is a bit annoying.

I don't think I've seen a Wes Anderson movie I didn't like, granted I haven't seen many, but his animated ones never interest me. I don't think his style translates well into that format.

I thought Ed Norton was blacklisted in Hollywood as someone very difficult to work with.

Are we outraged that so many white people are in a movie about Japan?

We need to glorify western culture and European people as much as we do foreign.
