It’s June 29th, might wana get some lighter colors and material than what looks like a flannel hoodie
What stained it?
Problem looks slightly deeper. They're a bit too long for you—you can tell by the creasing—so they stick out further than you think, causing you to catch the toe on stuff.
Saphir renovating cream then polish
Polish them. I recommend Allen Edmonds polish.
Is this normal? I would like to get another pair but not if they do this. It almost seems like a defect but I'm not sure. Anyone have any experience with this?
Looks like bike pedal marks. Motorbike.
In my experience the Bushacre are the cheaper versions of the CDBs and a huge step down in quality.
I have two pair about the same age. I have noticeable smoothing in the same area as you compared to the rest of the sole, but nothing like that. Mine are fine. Plenty of life left.
That almost looks like a hole in the center of what looks like a bike pedal mark?
Looks pretty normal to what i’ve seen from other pairs. Theier soles just don’t wear well, especially if you’re wearing it every day
Do you ride a bike
If the leather is halfway decent, is it possible to just get them resoled?
I live in China, so most sports wear tbh. Cool T-shirt though; clean lines.
Man, wait until you discover Superdry.
Try Google search Adidas Japan Tokyo t shirt
I think Adidas would be considered German
They just prepping it for my insane traps.
It hurts to see when sellers post pics like these of otherwise nice sweaters. It stretches the fabric and will make it fit noticeably longer and looser.
What, you don’t like lumpy shoulders?
That sweater is gonna be perfect for someone out there with a nice beefy trapezius
Thanks learned something new today, to the wardrobe!
Who else swiped right
Can confirm. I’ve ruined a couple of tops this way. They get folded now.
y’all it’s a good deal.
Just wear it and dab some water onto those “hangar nipple” and it’ll tighten up back to normal.
It pains me to see 50 perfectly good sweaters hung in a row like this at thrift stores
Well shit, I feel like an idiot now. Does this apply to other articles of clothes that are frequently hung up?
This makes my shoulder hurt.
That is a super-soft sweater for a super-soft birthday party.
Not so bad if in a rack next to others and hung when completely dry.
can you show a proper way to hang/store then? thank you
I remember these days.... having 4 shoulders isn’t fun.
Any fix for this?
I was an abuser of sweaters once.. thanks for teaching those who didn't know how to prevent this. #preventsweaternipples
My dad does this with all his jerseys. The neck opening is literally as big as the bottom opening now
That hanger clearly wore it.
And now I’m gonna take my sweaters off my ya get when I go back
Is there any other clothe that can't be hanged?
Thanks to this post I went to my closet, and realized just how gravely of a mistake I've made hanging my sweaters. Every single one of them suffer from the outstreched shoulder effect.
My heart hurts looking at this.
What other pieces of clothing should not be hanged?
Shit, I didn't know. thanks.
I have some cotton t-shirts that I hang to dry and then hang in the closet. Is this a good idea? Does it effect the neck?
Found a vintage David Bowie sweatshirt in my Mum’s closet. It’s beautiful but must’ve been hung like this for 20 years.
What’s the best way to dry these if they shouldn’t go in the dryer?
I put on a sweater I had hanging up, and had two big bump that stuck out of my shoulders. Now I know to fold, learned than hard way :(
Is there a way to undo the damage?
Fuck, I die a bit on the inside.
You'll get shoulder nipples. Folding is but if you have to use a hanger, there's this craziness, https://www.huffpost.com/entry/hang-sweaters-without-strething_n_6700258
Well sometimes you want to stretch it out some because you grew out some. Although I usually find that hanging makes the arms elongate more then the rest.
All my knit sweaters get folded and put in a drawer.
I never knew about this. I am indebted to your overwhelming genius benevolent Redditor!
The amount of comments by people who are just guessing about how to care for knits in this sub us too damn high.
There are a lot of different kinds of knits in a lot of different fibers and a lot.of different kinds of hangers. Also care for knits knits in general....can't just be generalized.
Cotton jersey knits should be folded, not hung(ie tee shirts). Most sweater knits should be folded not hung. Some knits like fleece, polar fleece, french Terry can certainly be hung. It's not a good idea to hang a wet knit, especially a knit that should be folded as previously.mentioned but there are exceptions. Lay them out flat to dry if you aren't gonna put them in the automatic clothes ruining machine. You can also hang sweater knits if you have the right kind if hangers, but you don't so don't hang em.
Cotton and cotton blend knits...fold em usually, never hang when wet cuz they'll stretch...especially 100% cotton. Ok to hang heavier cotton fleece and terry knits used in hoodies and such. Just not a good idea to use a wire hanger usually.(btw those wire hangers from the dry cleaner are disposable, not meant to populate your closet, get real hangers.)
Wool knits...usually fold em, but ok to hang carefully on wide hangers, even when wet cuz wool doesn't hold water and get heavy like cotton does.
100% Poly knits...hang, fold, or throw em away....probably throw them away.
What is this app?
My question is how else are you supposed to hang it if you take it out of the dryer after only 10 minutes to avoid shrinkage? I've seen this method but wouldn't that prevent efficient drying of the item?
What’s the way to hang them??
My "ruined" sweaters come back to life after washing and drying them properly. It's really not the end of the world.
it's banana republic who cares lol
wait wtf you dont hang clothes ??
Lmao I work at Banana Republic and we hang out sweaters on hangers.
I've never been able to visually determine if someone wearing a sweater hangs it vs folds it. Seems like an unnecessary concern.
RIP that sweater, mercilessly stretched out on the rack.
https://www.amazon.com/Original-Chippewa-Collection-6-Inch-Plain-Toe/dp/B00FLO9E5M literally googled "Chippewa 6 inch plain toe boot" and it was the first result
I bought those off Amazon about a year ago (love them) but they aren't on the site any more. It is the 6inch, but with a wedge sole
Google “men’s quilted jackets”
Try local leather daddy shop
This is quilted leather.
A lot of Allsaints leather jackets have quilted shoulders.
I guess you could roll them up.
You could also cut the sleeves to make the shirt short sleeved!
