Gabbard is a phony. She would never dare defy the military industrial complex and geopolitical players in Washington like Trump just did.

Mock Trump all you want but that is brave and proof that they won't even give up a shred of territory without a fight.

Rofl at everyone who thinks there was EVER a viable political candidate. Like, really? This is the conspiracy forum, and you guys think someone running for political office is telling the truth? Give me a fucking break. Tulsi is just as bad as the next great political answer to all your problems. Stop paying attention and playing that stupid game, and you'll start getting real answers.

Trump's withdrawal from Syria was not done carefully.

It was so poorly organized, US troops didn't even have time to dismantle a military base and clear out key intelligence resources....instead they beat a hasty retreat and bombed their own base

"Everyone should have a shot at paid family leave" was an OP-ed written by pro-paid family leave activists Heather Boushey and Katie Bethell. "Trump's budget to include family leave" is a hard news story and doesn't contain an opinion at all. The final article, "How paid family leave hurts women," was another opinion piece authored by Vanessa Brown Calder, a policy analyst at the libertarian Cato Institute."

I understand we want to shit on CNN, but is it a bad thing that a new agency is offering multiple points of view?

I see fair criticisms to this...meme...which highlight that two of the articles are opinion pieces by different people, one progressive and one libertarian.

But CNN is still curating, selecting what to put out there. I highly, highly doubt that their decision to post an anti paid leave article shortly after the Trump policy is mere coincidence. If it were coincidence, it would be just as likely for the order to be reversed. For example...paid leave bad; Trump doing paid leave; paid leave good.

For anyone following CNN the last few years it is obvious they are on a mission to exclusively promote negativity around The President. This is not some foil that theory. It is all day, every day. There is no Trump did X, why X is good opinion pattern. They are at war. It is not complicated.

The only instance I recall Trump getting positive coverage there was the day he bombed Syrian airfields.

I think that not caring that you'd get banned is fine, or even not knowing the subreddit rules is also fine. But if you knowingly posts content that isn't appropriate for a subreddit or knowlingly causes trouble with people on that subreddit(including moderators), then I feel like you've crossed a line into selfish and/or harmful behavior.

I am not trying to accuse you of anything or judge you as a person. Just explaining why some people might be confrontational towards this.

I'm seeing this "Epstein didn't kill himself" meme quite a bit. It could be this that pulls Epstein away from the memory hole he's so close to falling into. What we need now is someone to insert it into front page r/all or a live broadcast somehow.

I personally find it amusing, but it doesn't fit that subreddit.

Maybe "Epstein didn't kill himself" is going to be the same. Im not sure if that would be a good thing... maybe it only makes the real issue hidden behind a joke.

Have a look at south Africa. We have a massive crisis (50+ % unemployment, corrupt ineffective government and police, daily violent protests/looting State owed entities collapsing, daily calls for genocide of minorities by politicians, massive crime problem [rape capital of the world, higher murder rate than low level civil war], racist policies against minorities, one of the highest road fatalities in the world, aids capital of the world, open borders with 20+ million illegal aliens. It goes on and on.

I personally know 10 people who have been murdered.

3 people who died in car accidents

Everyone I know (not exaggerating) has been high jacked (and some kidnapped), most have had violent home invasions (with raping 80 year old grannies, mothers and babies), torture, etc.

I just got home from visiting my sister and her Chilean husband, and we had a long conversation about the events happening there. He's a naturalized US citizen and has been here for 20 years, but still has a lot of family there.

He unequivocally said that the media's portrayal of all of it happening because of a fare increase is bullshit, and that was only "the match" that detonated long simmering tensions there.

He told me that what people are really upset about, and have been for a long time is the absolute elitism and corruption that has plagued that country. There is as you mentioned a massive divide in the living conditions between the ruling class and the rest of ther country.

He said that the ruling class there has their own schools, transportation, and infrastructure that are only afforded to those at the top, while the normies continue to struggle to make ends meet.

Once again, the media in this country have muddied the waters and concealed the actual truth about why people are rioting on the streets there, dismissing it as a petty complaint about fare increases.

A lot of sh*t was happening for years, but only when the cost of public transportation was raised that people started protesting, which ultimately led to the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff and the "rightfication" of the country.

For example, our school system is funded roughly the same way, basically how Betsy DeVos wants the US schools to be funded, public funding with private profits and "free choice". We did the change well after they did and well after the effects of such a system was perfectly obvious to anyone who gave a shit, and our costs have risen and results have fallen nonstop since.

Just another piece of the Neoliberal puzzle that cannot be undone without revolution. It just gets blamed on immigrants, taxes and "not enough", just as the rest of the puzzle whenever they're discussed individually.

If you think this is "communist" you better get back to school. Oh, wait, they don't teach you anything about Communism in school. Must be the Fox News you have been watching, better stop it before your brain rots.

But yeah, this is stupid as fuck. I'ld love to hear their warped rational for calling math "appropriated by Western culture". Maybe someone heard that we are using Arabic numerals and blew a fuse.

You know what? I, as just your average, normal everyday guy, have often thought that schools should infuse all K-12 math classes with ethnic-studies questions that encourage students to explore how math has been appropriated by Western culture and used in systems of power and oppression. Nice to see they’re finally doing something about this important issue

The Original head of the Sphinx was much larger. Most likely it was either that the head of a Lion or a Jackal, archaeologist say. You can tell this head here is a relatively a new carving compared to the rest of the structure based on weathering patterns and that this new head was added latter when only a portion of the sphinx was seen poking out from the sand.

The great pyramids and sphynx were built long before the Egyptians found them, built by the civilization preceding the deluge over 10k years ago. Look at a the other pyramids in egypt other than the great pyramids. Notice the huge gap in build quality and size? Notice how they don't compare whatsoever to the great 3?

    https://old.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/aw1dqm/assumptions_i_had_when_i_was_a_provaxxer/

As a parent who thought vaccines were awesome, I would like to share with you some assumptions I had before I had kids. Assumptions I had when I happily brought my own kid in for shots. Assumptions I did not bother to question until my own kid had a neurological injury.

    1. I assumed that vaccines were the most tested thing ever for safety. I assumed that the vaccines on the CDC schedule were in the combinations they were in, because they somehow experimented and figured out what combinations would be safe at one time. This is not the case. http://www.jpands.org/vol21no2/miller.pdf

    2. I assumed that they studied vaccines for the cumulative effects of the entire CDC schedule. This is not the case. According to this Institute of Medicine report, "studies designed to examine the long-term effects of the cumulative number of vaccines or other aspects of the immunization schedule have not been conducted". http://nationalacademies.org/HMD/Reports/2013/The-Childhood-Immunization-Schedule-and-Safety.aspx

    3. I assumed that during the FDA safety trials, that vaccines were tested against a real placebo, like drugs are. This is not the case. Rather, they are tested against another vaccine. When both groups have about the same amount of reactions, the new vaccine is deemed "safe". At 1:07:00, they explain how the Hep B shot (for example) was tested. https://youtu.be/v9bVeEwyxXk

    4. I assumed that vaccines did not cause autism and the science was settled. I assumed that they had compared kids who got vaccines to kids who didn't get vaccines, and neither group had a different amount of autism. That's how you would do the study right? Well they don't do that. They have never done a vaxxed vs fully unvaxxed study. From #2's IOM report https://imgur.com/a/rUzNQEn and from the CDC itself https://imgur.com/3tH4GeG. So how do they come up with this "settled science" on autism? Epidemiological studies, which are easily manipulated, or studies where they look at people who have had LESS vaccines. So for example, they'll do a study and find that kids who got the MMR had the same rate of autism as kids who (got all the other shots but) didn't get the MMR. Here's the problem with that: Healthy user bias. The MMR isn't until 12 months, so if you give your kid the earlier vaccines, they suffer a neurological injury, and you stop vaccinating or slow down, you will be put in the "less vaccinated" category...and that's not a real control group; that's a concentrated-injury group. Here's a diagram that explains it better. https://imgur.com/zczKctf

    5. Here's where we get more anecdotal. I assumed that the medical community was aware of vaccine injury if it were to happen. They're not. I had NO IDEA how in-denial pediatricians are. They don't know points 1-4 that I explained so far. They go by what the CDC says. Their livelihood depends on giving vaccines and they want to do what's right, they want to believe they're helping children. So reading anything against the narrative is too much cognitive dissonance for them. This leads me to number 6...

    6. I assumed that doctors would want to know the cause of the kid's problems. Like on TV, those doctors really investigate! Kid came down with epilepsy? Okay let's get STAT imaging, blood tests, genetic tests, let's check the house for mold, let's look into environmental factors... So imagine my surprise when my kid is having multiple seizures and "uhh I don't know the cause but I can tell you it wasn't the vaccines". They ran a few basic tests but I had to push for everything. You'll be referred to a neurologist, who will prescribe medications and luckily they will work. Nothing wrong with that. But what surprised me is how they absolutely do not care about the cause (if it's not something glaringly obvious like a tumor.) As long as the meds are working, who cares?

    7. I assumed that doctors would grant medical vaccine exemptions to people who have been injured by vaccines. They don't. In order to get an exemption, that would require admitting that vaccine injury exists, and the cause of your problems doesn't matter, remember? An example: Adult has to get a flu shot for work. Immediately feels like crap and within a few days has numbness to extremities. Doctors all have the same line, "Idk what this is, but I don't think flu shots cause it". Prescribe stuff like gabapentin and lyrica, go home. Does this person get a doctor's note to excuse him from future flu shots at work? No. Does this person get informed that he may be entitled to compensation through the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Act? No. Does this person's issue even get reported to VAERS (vaccine adverse event reporting system)? No.

    8. Speaking of VAERS, I assumed doctors knew about it and used it. So imagine my surprise when after all the tests I pushed for came back negative, and the doctor quietly verbally admitted that it very well could have been an "extremely rare" reaction to the shots...Okay cool so you're gonna report it to VAERS right? Nope. They typically don't want to do it. Reporting to VAERS is a tedious process. VAERS is extremely under-reported. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK232983/.

    9. I assumed that the CDC, or FDA, SOMEBODY followed up on these injuries. They don't. A common criticism of VAERS reports is that they're not "confirmed". Well who is supposed to confirm them? Do you really think the government is going to come to your house and examine your kid and magically know whether the shots caused their autism? Speaking of government agencies...

    10. I assumed that the pharmaceutical companies had some oversight. Did you know that the US Department of Health and Human Services is supposed to do audits every two years? When the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program was established in 1986, vaccine manufacturers became immune from all liability. (Yes, you read that right.) In exchange for not being allowed to be sued, the HHS was supposed to do bi-annual audits. Guess how many they've done in 30 years? ZERO. In fact, a group identified this and sent a letter to the HHS about it. long PDF download

Most of all I think I just assumed that everyone knew MORE than they do. I thought there was some interesting scientific reason for the vaccine combos, that the CDC schedule would be tailored to my child's unique health issues if needed. Like, maybe certain kids shouldn't have certain vaccines, but others are okay? I thought my doctor would know that. If something bad happened, surely the doctors would know what was going on and change my child's vaccine schedule right? And surely if vaccines caused problems, they would know because they're the most studied thing ever.

Until you have a kid and deal with a vaccine injury, it's hard to comprehend just how crazy this rabbithole is. Stay safe guys. Edit- format

Here's my thoughts on vaccination and freedom of choice in general.

As long as your choice doesn't negatively impact someone else's life or their ability to make their own choices, we should all be free to do as we please.

However, by choosing to not vaccinate your child, you are leaving them exposed to potentially contact whatever disease is being vaccinated for. Additionally you are risking exposure to other people via communication from the unvaccinated child.

Freedom of choice for the whole > freedom of choice for the individual.

That's not the vaccine debate at all. The "debate" is whether its harmful or not.

The government doesn't possess the control to inject you with a vaccine against your will. That's why unvaccinated people and kids exist in the first place. If the government had that power, the "debate" wouldn't even exist at all.

A lot of these vaccines have mercury in them... full stop that should be enough to give people pause... but no.

I remember when I was a child, my parents and teachers would tell me that the mercury in the thermometers were dangerous so dont touch it and if it ever broke, dont touch it.

But yeah, completely fine to inject because with the other chemicals, its medicine.

This is incorrect. The fundamental question is: should society be able to make decisions for benefit for the whole even if those decisions harm a few?

Funny how Rockland county is the healthiest county in New York when they have the lowest amount of vaccines in New York.

Funny how japan is the healthiest country in the world when they don't get vaccinated as much.

I'm vaccinated willingly. I do not want to be vaccinated unwillingly.

    Very simple.

  • mylifeisropefuel
    1 points Oct 20,2019, 12:29pm

That's not the vaccine debate at all. The "debate" is whether its harmful or not.

The government doesn't possess the control to inject you with a vaccine against your will. That's why unvaccinated people and kids exist in the first place. If the government had that power, the "debate" wouldn't even exist at all.

I think vaccines are good for the most part but I never think a government should have the power to forcibly vaccinate people. Who knows what else is going in the vaccines that they keep us blissfully ignorant of. Plus there's the fact that they have been used for the purpose of eugenics.

This and chemtrails are some of the biggest, in your face conspiracies that if you critically think about it and do research, are clearly not what they seem, that get the most flack from the sheep.

    Eye roll.
