I always felt like this kind of thing should be true, but at 12 everyone was a fucking dick and I had no real friends.

At 40, I have RIDE OR DIE friends, and we know it’s true because we have been there for each other through it all. Friends I could call from a Panamanian prison and they’d come get me no questions asked.

At 12 you have friends that’ll go see a body with you.

At 40 you have friends that will BURY a body with you.

Not to be disagreeable, but I actually have an opposite experience. Being homeschooled for a while does that to you though

Even with my different experience, I can still feel and empathize with the artwork. What's so beautiful about strong pieces is the ability to convey feelings and making it a reality, and you've done that well.

I think your image captures the Spirit energy of these Amazing Birds very well . I have a close personal association to this Animal as I Reared & Fed 3 generations of them quite a few years back . i would have the Younglings eating from My hand within a week , and I was considered a Symbiotic member of the Flock . It is also Good that you don't have the Bird facing straight forward , as it is said when a Raven looks directly at You , it is bearing Bad News .

Really all you have to do is get a Raven drown it in black paint and the slap it on paper.

I love the minimalism of the piece. It conveys a lot, while only using a little.

I would greatly appreciate some critique! Somewhat of a greenhorn still.
