Haha! That a nice cosplay. I hope there isn't a terrorist attacker in the background.
Somebody give him $3,000 that he has to burn if he doesn't want his family killed.
Glory to Arstotzka!
I somehow just found out about this game yesterday, it's fucking brilliant. He also makes some great dev videos
Can't wait for the Jessica Nigri version with both her and the booth having knee deep cleavage
With how simple it was, Papers Please was such a fun game.
It's okay I come with REAL passport this time! Glory to Arstotzka!
Hands you passport drawn in crayon
Just accept the bribe to pay your family's rent.
What/when is this? I live near that convention center and had no idea!
I remember this cosplay. He was at Anime central in Chicago. I believe last year. He would ask you a series of questions about the convention policies, and depending on how you answered had 2 custom stamps and papers. He had handles on the inside and would just pick up and move depending on where people were. My favorite question is when he started asking everyone whether they had showered.
Ah good old Rosemont convention center
("what! We don't have any peppers")[https://vimeo.com/26186981]
Such an addicting game
Seen this posted to many times. This happened a couple years ago during Anime Central IIRC in Rosemont, IL.
Cobrastan is not a country.
You no like passport, I understand.
I come back again with a better one.

How often has this been on the subreddit? Already saw it like 3 times. Great cosplay though.
At first I thought I was going to see a cosplay of this: http://m.imgur.com/JFlSCND?r
Love this game and recommend watching MetalCanyon's playthrough of it on YT!
Glory Greatest Country
Cause no trouble.
The glasses are breaking my immersion.
Dafuq? This guy in a soldier uniform is a leutenant-colonel? And he's stamping papers? Oh, come on!
I'm actually planning this cosplay. That booth is going to be hard to make. :(
They should have put him up front checking tickets
Jack should be standing there
Man haven't seen this pic in awhile.
Was thinking of a Indiana Jones movie scene haha
Does anyone know if the guy who made Papers, Please is working on anything else? Preferably in that universe, but I'll take anything. One of the best gaming experiences I can think of having.
It was a mistake to open this checkpoint.
That's a real good game. Everyone should try it, it's really amazing.
Arstotzka so great, I not need passport
Oh you don't have any papers?
TO THE CONCENTRATION CAMP WITH YOU
ITT: Every single person knows what the post is referencing, yet nobody will say it for those of us who don't know.
I don't know how that game managed to make paperwork fun
Reminds me of Josef from GTA V
I thought it was somehow a Metro 2033 cosplay, too bad. ó_ò
This is a booth promoting the indie game Papers, Please, in which you play as a customs officer in Arstotzka, a harsh communist country equivalent to a Soviet State during the peak of the Cold War. How well you do impacts how much you earn each day, and thus whether you can afford rent, food, heating, and medicine for your ailing family.
Remember, no Russian.
