At 86, he watched a video of his retirement when he was in his 60's and commented about how young he was. I certainly need to take heed to these words. I'm in my 30's and worry about aging, but it's so silly to worry about such things.

My high school calc teacher played basketball in college and then played overseas for a little while before moving back to the states. Dude is probably about 6’8 6’9. We had him dunk during a pep rally for a football game and he ended up shattering the damn backboard and everyone went nuts hahah. He felt bad of course but it was badass. I think he knew what he was doing

#5 If Batman is so rich, then why does he have to keep renting out his garage for music videos?

  • Monster-Zero

You too can rent it, and at only $385 an hour (with a minimum of 10 hours, of course) it’s a steal!

Batman should be careful about who he rents out to, the repair bill must have been massive after renting it out to these japanese guys.

Because, unless you inherited, you understand that idle assets are losing money. So when he's not using this particular property he rents it out for $385 and hour for a minimum of 10 hours.

  • ByronosaurusRex
    1 points Feb 17,2019, 12:22pm

Also Red Sun Rising’s “Veins” last year.

I wonder how this happens — does the studio actively market the lot for videos? Is there a label connection where someone in A&R is like ‘I know a place we can shoot?’ Is this just where directors go when they have to get a project done and can’t think of a more original setting?

    Cool work, OP.

LUL you do know that Batman is a fictional character? The movie is made on a sound stage and to cut costs they rent it out to other fictional productions long after the movie is finished shooting.

I was nervous when my son said he wanted to start skating (at age 8). We took him to the local skate park and everyone just looked so “bad”. Well, that was a lesson in why prejudice is so horrible- those kids were SO kind to my son. They encouraged him, waved it off when he cut them off by accident, chased after his board for him when he fell, and cheered when he went down the tiniest little slope without falling for the first time. Honestly they were some of the kindest people I’ve ever seen...and they taught me never to judge a book by its cover.

My friend was too scared to drop in and kept bailing, he really wanted to do it but just couldn’t make himself commit. He told me if he bailed 3 more tries I have to kick him in the balls... So I ended up kicking him in the balls lol, he did it later that night tho. Not as heartwarming as this I guess

That is awesome. Seeing a group who encourage and cheer for each other.

It was always striking in the X-games when they would mob guys who it big tricks.

I remember seeing TH hit that first 900 and all the guys went bananas.

Great to see it in the roots and beginning of the journey as well.

I always found skaters at skateparks were encouraging, from not dropping into the same pipe you are on, to banging their boards on the pipe to show appreciation for a successful trick you did, quite wholesome on the average.
