The initials are a very sweet touch!
This is a great idea! Very nice feeling, peaceful.
Amazing! I'm 7 months pregnant and haven't done anything yet haha put me to shame
Congrats! That detail work on the trees is amazing!!
My wife and I did something very similar with our nursery but I neither one of us has the skills or the patience to put that kind of detail work so we just kind of used rough bristled brushes for the detail and shading on the trees.
I absolutely love this!
Don't listen to others saying it's creepy -- It's unique, and it adds an amazing calmness to the space. Well done, you!
Nice but I bet she will feel a little creepy after she reads Little Red Riding Hood. It looks really nice. Did you use tape or something to make sure you didn't mess up.?
Beautiful! How did you do it? White Paint over Grey? Tape?
Looks great, nice job
It's beautiful you should be proud :)
You should be very poplar!
Son of a birch?
quite beautiful, reminds me of Aspen trees in Colorado!
That's gorgeous :D
Great job painting that yourself
Now all that's missing is the woodland critters
Awesome!! Id like to have a background like that in my room..
Can you paint my bedroom next
This is beautiful! Congratulations on your baby boy
Congrats on your first child
Beautiful! Well done!
Gorgeous! You did a fantastic job
It's beautiful! You're so talented!
Oh that is absolutely gorgeous with the birch trees... I hope your son grows up to love nature
Really beautiful. Don't listen to the weirdos that think it's creepy. Creepy would be if you painted a Cheshire Cat in invisible red glow-in-the-dark paint, so that you only see him when the lights are off. Sweet dreams! :)
omg THIS IS AMAZING!I have 12 year old twins, but it might be worth adding number three just so that I can steal this idea. It's beautiful!!
Top notch work! Looks fantastic!
I HATE IT
Looks great! Needs more Calvin & Hobbes though!
What is going on in this thread? Most of the comments are downvoted to zero, specially the positive ones. Give the woman a break, she made an awesome nursery for her new son, why all the negativity?
It will be many years before you have that much time to dedicate to a single project! Enjoy the ride it's awesome. Congrats!
Regardless, beautiful work!
it would be cool if you and your child later glue paper leaves acording to season
Wow. That's impressive. Love how detailed the trees are. Good job.
Wow this is incredible amazing job!
Those birches are amazing! Some of the folks at /r/marijuanaenthusiasts would love this art!
You can tell it's an Aspen by the way it is
Wonderful job! Wishing you a smooth remaining pregnancy and a swift labor & delivery!
I thought you weren't supposed to be around paint chemicals whilst pregnant?
Beautiful. He's a lucky lad already.
Babes in the Woods.
That's pretty nice.
Very good work, but both my kids would have been scared-as-fuck.
this is adorable but I really hope you used a mask or were generally very careful with chemicals/ventilation
it's more authentic if you just leave him in the woods!
Going to grow up afraid of trees
Put a friendly tiger in that tree and she'll have someone to talk with.
OMG. I love this! Fabulous job.
That feeling of accomplishment is very rewarding. In two months you can kiss that feeling goodbye.
Fucking amazing very talented
wow gray with dead trees, cool. kids gonna be a socio path
Don't you worry about inhaling toxins from the paint?
The color choice is a little bleak.
They sell decals that look just like this and go on in loke 5 minutes. Just say'n
Wow, so much parenting advice!
Wow, very impressive! Are you an artist?
Those are Aspens. You can tell they're Aspens because of the way they are. Neat.
Cool yet creepy
Looks like a place you'd leave a child as a sacrifice to the White Walkers.
Needs one red balloon.
That is what nightmares are made of. Quality 10/10, subject matter 2/10. That is dark and scary for a kid right there...just sayin'.
I would add outlines of critters. Easily could fit a bird on a branch or a raccoon/fox at the base.
Beautiful!! And congratulations!
I hope you had the windows open... On another note, great job! That looks rad
I'm 32 and Mom still hasn't finished the crochet blanket she started when she found out I was on the way.
That's really cool. Congrats on the baby! :)
Extremely cool, girly! Well played.
Lead paint right?
I would have added a wolf and some vultures
Is the father Craster?
Thought it was R/Tifu bc you found out its actually a girl
Looks great but I'm surprised it took 7 months to complete.
Now all you need is two light sabers and you created the final battle of the force awakens
it needs a big fat cuddly spider.
i imagine your son taking permanent markers and ruining that masterpiece.
Can't sleep, white walkers will get me.
Nice work...but...to be honest...there's something spooky about it...
This looks like something straight out of a horror movie where you see a dark figure just appear in the distance.. but i love it !
Is it really necessary to point out if you're pregnant? It looks good regardless
Gotta get that feel-good karma, though
While an awesome job... that's fucking TERRIFYING
That almost looks a little terrifying... I imagine him crying in the middle of the night and as you open the door into the mostly dark room- light reflects off a pair of eyes in a spooky forest
But what if he's stillborn?
Very nicely done! Just to be sure, if it's a boy, you aren't gonna give your child to the Night King, right? Like that weird guy in season 3 or 4 of Game of Thrones
You can tell it's an Aspen by the way it is
very nice, but as a child (and an adult) I'd be terrified waking up to realistic creepy tress...
we need a do it yourself on how you got preggos ok
I love the paingting and the wall but came to point out this did not take you 7 months.
I'm 7 months pregnant and finally finished painting my son's woodland nursery by hand.
Wording might be awkward and anyone who might want to hire you in the future should realize this probably took a few days at best if you weren't pregnant...
And another 3 months to replace that friken gloomy gray Poor baby
